Online Portal for Verification of Export Certificates for Food and Cosmetics

To verify the authenticity of a "Certificate to a Foreign Government" (CFG), "Certificate of Exportability" (COE), "Certificate of Free Sale" (COFS), "Certificate of Origin" (COO) or a "Certificate for Cosmetics", enter the certificate number and the expiration date from the certificate and click Submit. You must provide all characters, including hyphens.

Please visit Online Verification of Export Certificates for Food and Cosmetics Export Certificate FAQs for more information.

If you are verifying a CFG or a COE with a QR code, you may also scan the QR code to see a copy of the certificate. To scan a QR code, open a camera application on your mobile phone and hold your device so the QR code appears on the screen. If your phone is capable of reading QR codes, tap the notification that pops up to navigate to the FDA website to view a copy of the certificate. If your phone does not have this capability, you will need to enter the information below.

If the information provided is associated with a valid CFG, COE, COFS, COO or Certificate for Cosmetics, the portal will open a copy of the certificate with the watermark FOR VERIFICATION PURPOSES ONLY. If the certificate has been withdrawn and is no longer valid, the portal will display a copy of the certificate with the watermark CERTIFICATE WITHDRAWN. If there are any inconsistencies between the certificate you received and the certificate provided on this site for verification purposes, please contact HFPExportCertification@fda.hhs.gov.
